Claim your page
Every Detroit room with something coming up already has a page here, built from the listings. If it is your room, you can put your own words, a photograph and your booking links on it.
What you get
- Your own description of the room, in your words, at the top of the page.
- A photograph you supply, credited to you.
- Your website, your box office number and your ticket link.
- An access line — the thing readers ask about most and almost no venue publishes clearly.
What you do not get
This part matters more than the list above, because it is why the page is worth having.
- No change to the listings. Events come from the ticket sites and from published calendars. Claiming a page does not add, remove or promote a show.
- No editorial voice. Your block is headed “From the venue” and dated. Readers can see which sentences are yours and which are ours, and that is what makes yours worth reading.
- No removing what we checked. The address, the neighborhood and the nearest train stay, because a reader came for those.
Do it yourself
Sign in with Google and you can write the whole thing now — your description, your links, your access line. It is $50 a year, and the first five rooms keep that rate for as long as they hold the page. Nothing appears on your page until we have checked that the claim really came from the venue, which is the only thing we do by hand and the reason a stranger cannot claim your room.
Or just tell us
No account needed. Send the details below, we reply with what it costs and what it covers, and nothing goes on the page until you say yes.
This opens your own email program with the message written out. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and nothing about you reaches us before that.
Or just write to Contact@Irondigitalmi.com.
Not a venue?
If you are putting on an event and it is not listed, that is free and always will be. Send it over.
