About this event

Detroit — let's talk about AI data centers, and Community Equity Join Blast Detroit and The Blackbottom Group for a virtual community session on hyperscale AI data center development: what these projects mean for host communities, the seven mandatory community pillars — grid and water independence, resident dividends, homeowner tax protections, workforce pipelines, rate protections, carbon capture, and binding community consent — and how residents can shape the terms while zoning and approvals move forward. Description: Facilitating high-impact engagement with host-community equity stakeholders around hyperscale AI developments requires a multi-tiered approach grounded in extensive public education, continuous stakeholder outreach, and rigorous policy governance.
